In late summer 2024, a short-term vision trip to 10 Balkan countries opened my eyes to the tremendous need for marketing expertise in developing regions. I saw talented entrepreneurs with amazing ideas but limited access to the knowledge we take for granted in the West. I returned for 4 weeks of ministry work in March/April 2025 to Skopje and Bucharest which included keynote talks, group meetings, and one-on-one coaching sessions.

These experiences transformed my perspective on my God-given marketing skills and calling. What if marketing expertise weren't just for profit, but could be deployed as a powerful tool for kingdom expansion? What if business development could create sustainable platforms for gospel influence?

Since then, I've been increasingly dedicating my time to this business as mission work, seeing God open doors throughout Eastern Europe and the Balkans. What started as occasional consulting has grown into Vertical Ventures Ministries—and I believe God is just getting started.

As a solopreneur with over 25 years of marketing and business development experience, I bridge the gap between Western business expertise and eager entrepreneurs in regions where such knowledge can revolutionize lives, families, and communities. My vision is to grow this work beyond what I can do alone. What I Do

Vertical Ventures Ministries operates at the intersection of business excellence and ministry impact for BAM businesses. I mentor entrepreneurs who often face unique cultural and economic barriers. Through one-on-one coaching and specialized training, I help them develop businesses that support their families and transform their communities. This work also creates pathways for women to lead with confidence and biblical values in regions where female business leadership is still emerging. My work falls into three key service areas:

1. Local Entrepreneur Business Development

I provide comprehensive business coaching to national entrepreneurs in Eastern Europe and the Balkans who are building enterprises in challenging economic environments. This flagship program includes:

Marketing strategy development tailored to local and international markets
Sales planning, systems, and support
Content creation and management for effective market positioning
Business model refinement for sustainability and growth

2. Cross-Cultural Business Development

I connect U.S. business leaders who have expatriated or want to move abroad with opportunities to start or relocate businesses to developing regions while maintaining biblical business principles. These initiatives create local jobs, establish ethical business models, and demonstrate Christ-centered leadership. My role is facilitating these connections and providing the cultural and business intelligence needed for success across borders.

3. Network Connection & Ecosystem Building

I connect entrepreneurial leaders with resources and tools to accelerate their ability to scale. Helping them find community locally, in-country, by industry, and online is crucial to their growth. I predominantly work virtually from the U.S., but also travel often for longer stays whenever and wherever needed. My ministry currently focuses on the Balkans and Eastern Europe, as well as other emerging markets with projects in:

Romania - Business mentorship and entrepreneurial training programs for emerging Christian business leaders.

Albania - Market expansion strategies for small businesses seeking growth.

Why The Balkans and Eastern Europe?

The Balkans and Eastern Europe face a deep need for the gospel, a need often compounded by their fractured history, the lingering impact of communism, and the scars of war-torn struggles. Building trust and genuine relationships are paramount in these cultures, requiring long-term commitment and authentic living out of faith, far beyond short-term mission trips. The limited involvement of women in leadership roles also hinders business progress and the spread of the message. This complex background underscores the vital importance of sustained, relational ministry focused on real discipleship to see the life-changing truth of Jesus take root and grow. It's about walking alongside people, sharing business and life, and letting the truth of the gospel unfold organically, a slow and beautiful process that short-term visits can't typically capture. The gospel's message of love and hope is so needed here, not just as a quick fix, but as a seed planted in fertile ground through consistent presence and lives that truly reflect Jesus.
